The install is very easy all holes already exist on your car. Don't know how much they help since there small BUT they do add a nice finishing touch

I agree, they are pretty small, but the do hang at least 1.5 inches below the bodywork. That could help some. Any bigger and I think they'd take away from the car's appearance. They were super easy to install and look great!
